Twitter is one of the best ways to generate interest and traffic to your website, but you need plenty of followers if you want to get the word out.  There are some very good tools out there to help you gain followers.  Use them with care, although it is important to attract followers as fast as you can in order to start gaining the benefits.

According to Mashable,  EasyTweets is “an almost perfect web based Twitter management tool.” We tested the broad range of features over the last few weeks, and we would tend to agree.  You can manage up to 100 accounts at a time, with zero footprint, and it has an ultra slick auto-follow feature that will enable you to grow your follower base with ease.

TweetDock is a service that not only offers auto-follow features , but  it also offers you with the ability to send @replies to people who match your keywords automatically. For example, if you have a wedding planning business you could send a personal message whenever the term “wedding” is mentioned.

Hummingbird was our ultimate favorite – it is an awesome tool that can legitimately help you gain thousands of followers a day, even in tight niches.  We highly recommend this one!

Twollo allows you to enter your keywords for the conversations you wish to track and it will auto-follow all of the people who are talking about the subjects in which you have expressed interested. There’s a free basic version you can subscribe to, but for £4.50 per month you can upgrade to a faster, superior service.  While it does work well, it does not build your following as fast as Hummingbird will.

TweetSpinner is an auto-follow tool anda sophisticated auto-follow engine.  It includes really cool features like “mimic following” that will synchronize your accounts with Tweeple you choose, the ability to set up recurring dynamic tweets, design and profile rotation and more. It’s one of the best I’ve seen, for sure.

An Important Note:

Please understand that building a huge following on Twitter is NOT your ticket to wealth and riches. Of course, these effective tools will help you to build a totally new account from zero to 4000 or 5000 followers, maybe more, in a matter of weeks (and much higher than that as time goes on).  However, unless you’re actively communicating with your followers, providing interesting and relevant information, then you might as well not waste your time.

Remember, Twitter is a community built on the social aspect.   And please – don’t spam your followers.  If you do, you won’t go far.

There are a lot of you out there who would like to try to make money online, but you just don’t know how to get started.  You may be saying to yourself, it sounds like a great idea but I just don’t know how to make a Website or have any technical skills.  You may be surprised to learn that there are several ways to make money online that require little or no technical abilities.  You don’t have to know computer programming or how to use HTML.

When I first started out in this business, we had to guess at the keywords that people might use to search for any give topic, product, or service. More recently, excellent keyword tools have been developed that enable you to find the actual keywords that people are using in their various searches. If you haven’t tried these tools, you may be surprised to find out that the terms you think people are using are just not there!

I suggest that you try the free keyword tools before buying a product, so that you can determine which one works best for you and you are most comfortable with.

Personally, I use Wordtracker.com, exclusively. It has helped me find those niche keywords that I would never have thought of before. I highly recommend viewing the free video tutorials first. They will teach you how to use the product to gain the very best results.

Look for those keyword phrases/terms that have the most searches with the least amount of competition, and you’ll be astounded at the results!  You can drive highly targeted traffic to your website if you use the right keywords.
